President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board
Michael Heinstein has served as chief executive officer since 1998 and is one
of the founders of Art.com, Inc. The company is now the dominant retailer of
posters, prints, and framed prints worldwide, with three core brands: Art.com,
AllPosters.com, and Poster.de.
Michael brings over 23 years of technology and entrepreneurial experience to
Art.com, Inc., with prior work in pre-Internet online gaming communities and
gaming software.
Michael received a B.A. degree with honors in Political Science from the
University of California, Berkeley. Heinstein also has an M.A. degree from the
University of Illinois (Chicago) in Clinical Psychology, where he practiced as
a clinical psychologist and conducted research on the impact of communities on
pro-social behavior and mental health.

Board Member
Joshua is one of the founders of Art.com, Inc., and currently serves on its
board of directors. He has an in-depth knowledge of the Internet, e-commerce
and art industries, and has spent the last eleven years growing the company,
and providing it with vision and direction.
His greatest accomplishment has been building Art.com, Inc. into the world's
largest online consumer marketplace for prints, posters, photographs, and
custom frames. He is a firm believer that great companies are made by great
people, and attributes much of Art.com, Inc.'s success to its employees.
In addition to his business responsibilities, Joshua also enjoys sharing his
passion for creating new businesses with high school and college students
interested in becoming entrepreneurs.
Joshua attended Rutgers University in New Jersey.

Board Member
With over 20 years of venture capital investment experience, Bob is a veteran
of the venture industry and is currently a general partner with Benchmark
Capital. Prior to Benchmark, Bob spent 12 years as a general partner with
Technology Venture Investors. Before TVI, Bob worked for The Boston Consulting
Group where he focused on issues of corporate strategy in industries ranging
from retail distribution to high technology manufacturing.
Bob earned a M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business, 1980, General
Motors Fellow; a B.S. in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from General
Motors Institute (renamed Kettering University), 1978, Sobey Scholar.

Dan Marriott is currently the founding president and chief executive officer of Pronto, Inc., an Operating Business of IAC / InterActiveCorp (NASDAQ: IACI). IAC operates leading and diversified businesses worldwide in sectors being transformed by the Internet – including brands such as: AskJeeves, Ticketmaster, LendingTree, HSN, Citysearch, Match.com and Evite.
Dan founded Pronto, Inc. during his prior role as senior vice president, interactive development of IAC, a role which focused on developing and incubating new businesses for IAC. During his time at IAC, Dan has also served as senior vice president, strategic planning, overseeing all activities relating to the strategic direction, mergers and acquisitions and strategic investments of the Company.
From 1999 to 2001, Dan was executive vice president, corporate strategy and development for Ticketmaster (NASDAQ: TMCS), where he was responsible for leading all efforts in mergers and acquisitions, third party partnerships and strategic investments. Dan also served as president of Citysearch, where he led the management and strategic direction of Ticketmaster's national and international city guide business. Dan joined Ticketmaster-Citysearch (now Ticketmaster, an IAC Operating Business) in August 1997 as vice president, marketing. He also served as executive vice president, marketing and product development during his time at TMCS.
Prior to joining Ticketmaster-Citysearch, Dan worked with PepsiCo's Frito-Lay Division for seven years where he managed multiple brands with revenues exceeding more than $3 billion in retail value, as well as spending time in New Product Development and Operations.
Dan received both his B.S. (1990) and M.BA. (1991) from the University of Illinois, where he was a Bronze Tablet Scholar.

Board Member
Alan has more than 20 years of operating executive and investment experience
and is currently managing general partner with Polaris Venture Partners. Alan
focuses on investments in information technology, with an emphasis on
revenue-stage companies, digital media, and e-commerce.
Before coming to Polaris, Alan was with The Washington Post Company, where he
worked for 18 years. During his career with The Post Company, he served as
president, chief operating officer, board member, chief financial officer,
president of Newsweek, head of newspaper marketing, and head of corporate
business development. Prior to The Washington Post, Alan was an officer at The
Boston Consulting Group, an international management consulting firm
specializing in corporate strategy.
Alan earned his B.S. at Massachusetts Institute of Technology; a M.S. at
M.I.T.'s Sloan School of Management; and a J.D., with honors, from Harvard Law
School.
