Chief Executive Officer and Board Member
Geoffroy Martin has been Art.com Inc.'s CEO since February 2010. He joined the company in 2004 and previously served as Chief Operating Officer. Geoffroy's mission is to make art accessible to all by transforming the way the world discovers, learns about, personalizes, shares and ultimately purchases art. He is committed to making Art.com and AllPosters.com the world's favorite and most recognized brands when it comes to art by offering a captivating user experience, world-class customer satisfaction and cutting-edge innovation.
Geoffroy has over 15 years of international management experience, with both high-growth start-up and public companies. He received Master of Science degrees in electrical engineering from École Centrale Paris in France and Politecnico di Torino in Italy.
Geoffroy's interests include hiking, skiing, spending time with his family, and collecting Middle Eastern abstract paintings. His favorite art piece on art.com is Gustav Klimt's Tree of Life.
Chief Financial Officer
Chuck Kurth joined Art.com Inc. as Chief Financial Officer in November 2008 and oversees the company's Finance and Legal functions.
Chuck has over 20 years of experience in the retail industry, most recently as Executive VP, Chief Financial & Administrative Officer with Mervyns, a $2.5 billion regional department store. Prior to that, he was VP of Finance and Treasurer at Ross Stores, Inc., a publicly-traded retailer. During his tenure there, revenue grew from approximately $2 billion to more than $5 billion, and the store base increased from less than 200 stores to more than 700. He has also held leadership positions at Hanover Direct and The May Department Stores Company, and was a Senior Audit Manager at Arthur Andersen & Co. Chuck received his Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Economics from Iowa State University.
Chief Technology Officer
Nasos Topakas joined Art.com Inc. as Chief Technology Officer in June of 2010 and is responsible for the company's overall technology organization and strategy.
Nasos brings more than 20 years of software engineering and executive technology management experience to this position. Before joining Art.com Inc., Nasos served as Chief Technology Officer for SendMe, Inc., where he managed the company's technology strategy, budget, execution and architectural direction. Prior to SendMe, Nasos held technology leadership roles at StubHub, Inc., Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., and Pacific Bell Information Services. Nasos received his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from San Francisco State University.
Nasos' interests include spending time with family, traveling, mountain biking, photography, and experimenting with the latest technology gadgets. Some of his favorite artists are Wassily Kandinsky, Leonardo Da Vinci, and Ansel Adams.
Vice President of Human Resources and Administration
Terry Hill is Art.com Inc.'s Vice President of Human Resources and Administration. He joined the company in June 2002 and oversees staffing, leadership development, performance management, organization development, employee training, benefits and compensation, labor law compliance and employee communication.
Terry brings more than 20 years of human resources experience at a senior management level. He has worked in HR generalist roles as well as business development and operations roles for HR outsourcing companies. Prior to joining Art.com Terry was Director, West Coast and Human Resources Services at Advantius, a human resources outsourcing ASP. This followed roles as Director, Human Resources Services and Consulting at EmployeeService.com and senior human resources management roles at Milgard Manufacturing and Patio Industries. Terry received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and a M.S. in Human Resources at Chapman University, and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
Senior Vice President of Operations
Bob Inman serves as Senior Vice President of Operations at Art.com Inc. He joined the company in January 2005 and is responsible for worldwide fulfillment and manufacturing operations, along with customer sales and service call centers.
Bob brings over 20 years of senior management experience in the field of Operations and Logistics Management. He has considerable experience integrating operations from newly acquired companies, as well as developing and implementing operational growth plans for high-growth organizations. Bob's professional experience includes catalog fulfillment operations for a major retailer, and most recently served as Vice President of Logistics for the Scotts Company, a leading international manufacturer of lawn and garden products. Bob received his Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio State University in Production and Operations Management.
Senior Vice President of Product Management and User Experience
As Senior Vice President of Product Management and User Experience for Art.com Inc., Madhav is responsible for setting product strategy and overseeing product management and development for Art.com, AllPosters.com and ArtistRising.com.
Prior to Art.com, Madhav held several leadership positions at Kodak, including Worldwide Manager for Strategy and Advanced Technology in the Digital Capture Business and General Manager of Kodak's professional digital camera and Professional Lab offerings. Most recently he was the Chief Product Office at Kodak Gallery. Madhav received his MBA from Simon School of Business, University of Rochester and was awarded a Ph.D. in Materials Science from the California Institute of Technology.
An avid photographer, Madhav loves traveling the world to capture its wonders. His favorite photographers include Steve McCurry, Pep Bonet and Ansel Adams — , with the lessons in serendipity that it provides, is his favorite Adams photograph.
Senior Vice President Global Marketing
Lesa Musatto joined Art.com Inc. in 2012 as SVP of Global Marketing. Her responsibilities include marketing for all of the brands and sites globally, as well as oversight for the marketing channels.
Lesa brings 20 years of experience in marketing leadership with functional expertise in Direct to Consumer business models. She has previously driven results for global companies such as Gap Inc., Levi Strauss, Safeway and Treasury Wine Estates. Lesa's experience includes developing brand and distribution strategies for start up brands such as Bella Pictures, Red Envelope and Archetype-Solutions.
When she's not busy exploring the world of art, Lesa is busy trying to keep up with her two children. There are too many amazing artists to choose one favorite, but she loves to explore here.
CEO of Zenfolio
Alex Peyzner is Founder and CEO of Zenfolio, the web platform for photographers acquired by Art.com Inc. in 2013. Responsible for product development, company strategy and team advancement, Alex takes pride in knowing that tens of thousands of photography businesses worldwide depend on Zenfolio every day.
Prior to founding Zenfolio, Alex spent several years as a VP of Marketing at 3Cube, an IP telephony and real-time collaboration provider. He served as Director of Product Management for the Oracle Collaboration group after Oracle acquired 3Cube in 2001. An entrepreneur at heart, Alex learned best practices in building successful software products during his six-year tenure at Adobe Systems where he held a number of marketing and product management roles. He completed his MBA from the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University.
An avid photographer and traveler, Alex loves how the art of photography helps people appreciate the beauty and diversity of our planet. He is the proud father of two young boys who have already traveled to 12 countries.
Senior Vice President of Merchandising
Gary Takemoto is Senior Vice President of Merchandising at Art.com Inc., responsible for product and artist development as well as licensing and vendor relationships.
With over 20 years of experience in traditional and e-commerce retail, Gary joined Art.com Inc. in March 2001. He previously served as Director of Merchandising at Internet Shopping Network and held product and brand development positions at large retail companies such as Macy’s and Mervyns. Gary received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and East Asian Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
An avid tennis player, Gary also enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends. He has an affinity for art from Marc Chagall.
