Conde Nast and Art.com, Inc. Team Up to Launch the New Conde Nast Store

New Store Offers More Choices in Framing and Printing Than Ever Before

NEW YORK, NY and EMERYVILLE, CA (November 17, 2011)—Today, Condé Nast, the home of some of the world’s most celebrated media brands, and Art.com, Inc., the world’s leading online specialty retailer of wall art, launched a new, more robust Condé Nast store, selling thousands of iconic images and cartoons from titles within Condé Nast’s portfolio such as The New Yorker, Golf Digest, Glamour, Vanity Fair, and Vogue. At launch, The New Yorker Store and the Cartoon bank will have dedicated storefronts, which will be followed by similar showcases for additional Condé Nast brands by the end of 2012. The new store will make it easier for consumers to discover and buy images from the Condé Nast Archive and personalize them through a greater selection of sizes, matting, framing and glazing options powered by Art.com’s sophisticated visualization technology and Custom Frame Studio.

“The Condé Nast store contains a treasure trove of photographs, covers and cartoons created by some of the most talented artists in their field, such as Edward Steichen, Irving Penn and New Yorker cartoonists Roz Chast, Bob Mankoff and cover artist Barry Blitt,” said Julie Michalowski, senior vice president, consumer business development at Condé Nast. “With this new store, our readers along with lovers of wit, design, style and photography, will find it easier now to discover and customize images that are meaningful to them.”

“Art.com is dedicated to helping people discover art they love, and we are thrilled to work with Condé Nast to offer their amazing collection of images from some of the world’s most talented cartoonists, photographers and artists and to help people personalize those images with a wide variety of custom-frame styles, mats and more,” said Geoffroy Martin, CEO of Art.com, Inc.   “With great tools like View in Room that let you see the artwork on your own walls, the ability to share your selections via Facebook, email and Twitter and have your friends comment on your selection, you are sure to find the perfect piece of artwork every time.”
