Top Art Retailer Celebrates the Launch of New Social Tool with National Sweepstakes

EMERYVILLE, CALIF. (October 17, 2013)—Art.com Inc., the world’s leading online destination dedicated to experiencing and buying art, today announced the launch of Community, an interactive feature that allows users to discover, collect and share the art they love through a live social feed. Fueling exploration and inspiration, Community enables customers to explore trending art in real time, as well as follow and engage with the Art.com community by sharing and discovering personally curated art and décor. To celebrate this new way to find art and interact with other art lovers, Art.com is offering $500 of artwork to new Community members through a national sweepstakes.

Additionally, Community users can stay on trend by following galleries curated by Art.com’s tastemaking Inspiring Insiders including fashion, beauty and travel photographer Nigel Barker, iconic designer Jonathan Adler and founder of design blog Design Milk Jaime Derringer.

Coming off the heels of Art.com’s Shop by Room feature, which launched earlier this year to help customers find the perfect art for each of their favorite spaces, Community also offers a great resource for users to easily discover popular art for each room of the home, as well as users’ personal galleries.

The Community feature allows Art.com users to:

  • Inspire others by sharing their own handpicked art and galleries with followers.
  • Explore trending art and galleries in real time.

Join Art.com’s Community and sign up for a chance to win $500 of art you love. Running October 21 through November 18, all new Community members who create a personal profile and add at least one artwork to a gallery will be automatically entered to win. Two winners will be drawn each week.
