EMERYVILLE, CA (October 24, 2016) — Today, the Board of Directors for Art.com Inc., the world’s leading online destination for wall art and décor, announced the company has appointed Kira Wampler as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors. Prior to joining Art.com, Wampler served as Chief Marketing Officer at Lyft, where she oversaw tremendous growth – from 65 cities in March 2015 to over 200 today and a nearly 7X increase in rides. Wampler’s experience in driving strategic growth, as well as building global brands, will play a critical role in helping Art.com achieve its long-term vision.

“Kira is an exceptional leader and consumer visionary with a stellar track record of success, delivering high growth and building brands in extremely competitive consumer sectors,” said Dan Marriott, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Art.com, Inc. “The Board of Directors and I are confident that, under Kira’s leadership, Art.com will thrive and further capitalize on the enormous market opportunities that we have as the world’s largest online retailer of wall decor. We couldn’t be more thrilled and energized to enter the next phase of Art.com’s journey with Kira at the helm.”

“I am honored, and humbled, by the opportunity to lead this global organization into its next stage of growth,” said Wampler. “I am excited to join the Art.com team as we, together, bring art and inspiration to significantly more customers around the world.”

Prior to Lyft, Wampler was Chief Marketing Officer of online residential real estate site Trulia, where she led the brand’s consumer product and marketing efforts until it was acquired for $2 billion by Zillow in 2014. Wampler also brings a long track record of excellence at previous marketing and product leadership roles at Intuit and Lytro.

Wampler officially joins the company on November 28. Chuck Kurth, the company’s Chief Financial Officer, had previously served as interim CEO.
