Leading Online Retailer of Wall Art & Décor Brings on Former Macys.com Executive to Drive E-commerce Growth
EMERYVILLE, Calif. (May 16, 2017)—Art.com, the world’s leading online destination for discovering and purchasing art, today announced the appointment of accomplished technical leader, Wan Agus, to Senior Vice President of Engineering. Agus, who previously served as Vice President of Engineering at Macys.com, brings extensive experience working with startups and Fortune 100 companies, showcasing a proven track record of delivering sustained and scalable growth.

As the Senior Vice President of Engineering, Agus will focus on strengthening the company’s mobile experience, investing in core platform and capabilities and furthering global operations. With deep expertise in retail e-commerce, Agus will spearhead all digital operations—serving the company’s mission to help people find the art they love so they can love their spaces more.

Agus and his team were responsible for continuously improving the customer-facing functionalities on Macys.com and Bloomingdales.com. His passion for driving innovations and building strong teams will contribute towards achieving Art.com’s vision of bringing affordable art to significantly more customers around the world.
